Internet

The Internet (or net) is the network of computers connected by cable, telephone, wireless or satellite. The computers on the Internet are able to communicate with each other and all other computers on the Internet by using a common agreed protocol. The Internet hosts the World Wide Web. The Internet is a proper noun so is always spelled with an upper case I. An internet (lower case i to start) could also be any collection of computers connected together to enable communication between each system.
